U14 Girls Coach Vacancy

Cleveland School FA U14 Girls Manager/Coach

Cleveland Schools FA are looking to appoint a new U14 Girls team manager/ coach or coaches for the season 2018-19 and onwards

Applicants must be committed, enthusiastic and hold a minimum of level 1 FA coaching award or be a qualified PE Teacher. The role is a voluntary position but is extremely rewarding and enjoyable. Experience in coaching youth football is essential. The role is open to non-teachers also.

What is involved? A minimum of 4 games:
  • Trials and friendly fixtures in late September for girls in Y8 and Y9 of Cleveland schools.
  • U14 Northern counties FA league entry with fixtures Oct-March against Northumberland, Durham and South Yorkshire
  • If qualify in top position then potential final v North West counties.
  • ESFA U14 Inter County trophy entry v Northumberland away Oct 13th
  • Games are played on Open Weekends 2nd Saturdays of the month with some midweek games at Northfield Sports College under floodlights

  • Full playing kit provided, including training tops
  • Match balls, training balls, bibs, cones also included
  • Access to Facebook and Twitter account to promote your team’s progress and provide information to players
  • Staff kit provided too

Desirable
  • First Aid Qualified
  • Excellent player management skills
  • Strong planning, organisational and observational skills
  • Excellent communication skills with players and parents
  • Vehicle to transport equipment
  • FA DBS check (this can be arranged and paid for)
