Tonight our U14 boys travelled to Great Manchester in their opening Northern Counties league game. In what was to always prove to be a difficult fixture the lads unfortunately lost 6-0 but made a real big effort after a disappointing first half.

In a tight game at Stokesley FC the U16 Boys went down 2-1 v North Yorkshire.
North Yorks took the the lead with a great volley from Luke Jones before doubling it via Gus Glass before Gary Mitchell pulled one back for the Cleveland lads.
Well done to both sets of lads for an entertaining game.

Wednesday 17th Oct:
U14 Boys play Greater Manchester in the Northern Counties league, kick off 7:30 away.


Our next scheduled games will be then after half term as we entertain Northumberland at Trinity on Sat 10th Nov at U14G U16B and U18B with kick offs at 11am.

The U16 Boys squad to face North Yorkshire:

After an excellent standard in the trials process since May we are pleased that the following boys will represent Cleveland on Tuesday 16th Oct
Meet at North Riding Centre, Stokesley FC for 6pm
Kick off 7pm
Black trousers, white shirt, tie or similar. Shoes not trainers.
All players must bring a drink plus boots and shin pads. There is an expectation that all players will remain for food after the game.

PLEASE NOTE:
Any boy not selected for Tuesday will still be considered for selection in future games and that players selected for this game have to maintain form and high standards of behaviour and commitment to remain in the squad. We will keep players in mind for future games so please check web and Facebook for future games.
